"The only thing it reflects is the view of Democrats."

You say this because?

"Veterans have and continue to vote Republican in most elections."

The relevance of this is... what?

"Even John Kerry, who tried to run on his service in Vietnam, got a minority of the Vietnam veteran vote."

Do you have any credible links supporting this contention? First time I've heard this! After all, Kerry actually went where he at least could have been HIT by a bullet, while the chimp Nero didn't even show up for all his duty with the NoGos (as the National Guard was referred to at the time)...

Well, it all depends what counts for as supporting the troops... is it keeping them at war or paying them and their families while they're there and after they return?

This group apparently thinks it's the latter, and their ratings reflect exactly that.

What do you think?

Veterans have and continue to vote Republican in most elections. Even John Kerry, who tried to run on his service in Vietnam, got a minority of the Vietnam veteran vote.

Nothing remains static. Things are changing very quickly. A good number of the Dem. candidates this fall are Iraqi vets. There is a growing wave of opposition to the way the GOP does business. Whether it can overcome the GOP's corruption and dishonesty is yet to be seen. We'll know something by 11/8 but nothing conclusive. The next year will be the tell.
