ATI does alter the gross margin equation, no doubt, and although I didn't make it clear, my response was meant ex ATI.

And yes, INTC has stolen away the momentum, and like you, I'm wondering what is taking AMD so long to reply.

65nm will help in a significant way, but AMD needs to come up with something "toute suite" to put a dent in INTC's accelerating performance lead in the low end server space and in the desktop space.
