So maybe there a year or three more along than I thought, but I think it will take some time before hundreds of millions of these things are in use.

And how much of an investment in electricity production and distribution are we going to need if we add 140 million new electric vehicles? And note they won't all be tiny hyper efficient vehicles, people are still going to want SUV's, large sedans, and performance cars. So the average per car use of electricity will probably be larger, perhaps much larger, than most prototype vehicles.
