OT: Taikun, sorry for this juvenile and tawdry exchange on your thread. Ralph-Emerson has an irrational hate on for me that he can't seem to let go of. I offered an olive branch to him today on CD's thread that would have allowed him to climb down from his untenable position with dignity, only to have it shoved back down my throat. That said, and since I am already OT, allow me to indulge myself as he has me on ignore so I can't respond to him by PM. Still taking the high road Ralph? Ask yourself how many posters on SI do I not get along with, and how many do you not get along with? I would recommend you take a close look at yourself to figure out why you have this compulsive need to have enemies and to feel persecuted. My take is that the cause of your difficulties lies in a basic insecurity that expresses itself as aggression and mild paranoia. Perhaps if you saw a professional therapist they could sort it out for you and make it easier for you to engage in normal communication with other people. It would be a difficult process because you wear your problems like a badge of honour and your personality, at least the one you express on-line, seems to have come to be based around them, but I can almost guarantee you could come out the other side a happier person.
