Bush's own people call the religious right "nuts" and "idiots" behind their backs. Of course you're stupid and ignorant if you think stem cell research is human cloning or abortion. That's just a lack of scientific understanding. Bush himself seems ignorant about it too, just as he's ignorant of how messed up Iraq is, mainly due to his own mishandling of the war. Plus, it's all Terri Schiavo type pandering to the idiots at the expense of everyone else. I think 80% of Americns want full stem cell research, so Bush is just playing to the ignorant "nuts". His only true base. What's really scary is Bush still believes in "victory" in Iraq and that Iraq is the "war on terror". Actually, though Bushies have lured in many terrorists types, it's a civil war, 95% are Iraqi-Iraqi fighters and it's hauntingly similar to Vietnam. But at least LBJ and Nixon seemed to have some clue.
