Do you think they are suspending DRIP because they end up paying out more if the funds are re-invested or because as they claim it is too burdensome?

David,

Canadian Oil Sands Catch 22?

Isn't it nice to see the debt falling! I assume that this could mean more distributable cash in the future. That joy is offset somewhat by the higher royalties, which we knew were coming, but I'd have thought a quarter in which we saw $78 oil might have yielded a little better results. One cure of course is expansion, but the benefit of lower royalties is offset by higher capital costs.

Perhaps deploying newer technologies or sourcing NG internally may lead to higher future profitability.

It is a shame that the capital costs for expansion seem to be increasing at around the same price as the commodity.

Zero sum game?

Anyway, if we tank at the open I'm buying calls.
