The ultimate selection decision has to be that of the child. When ours made her choice she lost the right to complain when she heard how little her other friends were doing in comparison. Her decision was one of the first times she began to emerge as a strong person. She was always firm with me but very "mousey" with others. She is now very poised and firm willed. She chose the tougher road and is far the better for it. Some day I will you about our math home work battles!!
