jon, it appears that the market does not understand the poderosa deal as you do. The closing price the day before the deal was announced was 88 cents, and now its 80 cents... down about 9% on decent volume.
At the conference call, management admitted that the story of CMM was not being recognized for its value and (as I remember it) Peggy stated that she was planning to be on the road to a great extent explaining that story over the next couple of months.
I was impressed with management at the conference call. They spent about 90 minutes answering questions, and they seemed open to answer honestly every question that came up. The openness was startling, in a very positive way, and entirely unusual for company executives these days.
It remains to be seen if management will start delivering in a timely fashion on projections, but I agree with you that CMM appears to be a good value assuming that gold prices remain near 600 or higher and management does deliver the profits that should come with those prices.
Maybe I am too trusting, but I bought more shares yesterday.
