Your correct though in that parental involvement has more to do with education then good or bad teachers. And many parents are not involved at all anymore.

Peter, You are fortunate that you were able to find an area that had such a competent school system. They are not very easy to find. With the busing that is going on now, it is hard to designate the schools you want your children to attend.
