I fully agree. However, I also think that parts of ASML´s presentation/press release were let´s say "unlucky" and prompted misinterpretations. Meurice attempt to repair this later on effectively didn´t help. I just don´t understand why Meurice/ASML went so far with speculations about the situation in 2007 when reporting Q3 earnings. Just as a reminder and an example for the accuracy of forecasts (speculations) about the next year: SIA projected in November 2005 a 10%ish decline in 2006 DRAM sales compared to 2005.
