Sorry! I tried to put too much in a single posting.

1) There are two types of networks: cellular to connect mobiles phones. And there is Wi-FI you can connect a laptop to it and use it to talk to like using Skype.

2) To make one talk to another, you need a box called a media gateway that translates what one network is saying to another.

3) You -as an operqator- cannot get into another network free of charge. It would be akin to traveling from UK to Boston and then go to Los Angeles free of charge. Thus both operators have to find ways to delivery the good end to end but sharing the revenue.

4) Taking into consideration that I have a license to operate in the UK and the US. If I already operate from UK to Los Angeles, why I need someone else to get passengers at London and hand them over to me at Boston?

Did it make sense now?
