It is an educated guess which is not unreasonable given the rate of new oil discoveries.

Perhaps. Except that there is nothing quite like. Other energy sources are not as portable. But even more than an energy issue, this is a materials issue. My emphasis was on oil by-products rather than energy.

Again, you may turn out to be right. But the current trends are not on your side.
