So I guess it was the name of their 29K family newsletter, although a google search for Fusion 29K News does not turn up much, just the above.

Petz,

I remember AMD using "Fusion" as a trademark back in those
days when I did bit slice design. If I get some time I'll
look around 'cause I know I saved some of those manuals for
posperity. :)
