Ahh - Yes of course but wasn't the main criticism of Kerry the fact that he had been shown to have changed his mind on at least one occasion?

The right panders to the stupid. How many people voted for Bush because Kerry was a "flip-flopper"? The whole concept of "flip flopping" is meaningless - any intelligent person changes his outlook as things change and more information is gathered - yet the fact that he wasn't a dreaded "flip-flopper" was the backbone of Bush's re-election plan. I just find it amusing that Bush has found it necessary to be one now. I guess the reality of the mess in Iraq is hitting home.

It's perhaps meaningful that Bush is just now- after only 3 1/2 years of spinning his tires - deciding he's going to adjust to circumstance in Iraq instead of "staying the course". Way to go Einstein!

It’s no wonder we have such an incompetent in the White House but as far as I'm concerned we don't deserve any better – not when people vote based on nonsense.
