My kids schools are outside of the city we live near. Inner city schools seldom have much good to talk about. Even metro area schools rarely have much good. Every school district has a one or two schools that significantly outperform the rest. Interestingly, my brother's kids live where they can go to the one school in the city that is close to the scholastic quality of the school my kids grew up in. It was no coincidence.
