Some people are just using up good oxygen molecules that the rest of us need and have no legitimate value. Duncan and people like the murderers of the family you mention are like that. My only objection to the death penalty is that it takes too long to play out. That part of it, designed to assure that no innocent person is executed, is the cruelest aspect of their miserable lives.
