I don't get involved with partisan politics. To me it is pointless; there are people in both parties whom I like, but I have to admit I dislike the majority of both sides.

Yesterday I read an excellent article on Saudi Arabia on Asia Times and thought of you. Here it is, if you are interested atimes.com

BTW, for several years I refused to put anyone on my ignore list. Then I finally put two very rude hecklers on a semiconductor thread on ignore (they literally had a personal issue with the company execs). Then I put some more people and then some more...suddenly I realized I was tempted to put people on ignore who imo were just dead wrong. In other words, I was censoring the news and views coming to me. I went back and reviewed posts of all people in my ignore list. It got clear of everyone but the one-liner hecklers and very excessively rude people. I have not added anyone to the ignore list since.
