Thanks slacker,
the guys at internettablettalk.com have been very informative to me when I started to use the 770- I know NOTHING about Linux. Good detectives also, trying to analyse a single pic.
After reading about the 770 for months, I was surprised how few problems I had with it. I thought it was FAST! Loved the stylys input - and thumb board. Superb for surfing, except for some shortcomings in Linux/Opera e.g. Flash 9 and some other media issues. Almost no memory issues. Since I use web-mail when using it, the mail feature shortcomings I read about doesn't bother me.
It has already changed some of my ideas on my future mobile needs:
- I NEED a 770 screen (and a new prescription for my eye glasses). Going back to a cellphone display for anything beyond messaging is a pain. The 770 "opened my eyes" to what is needed. On the move, I guess I will always carry a device with a good screen, besides my phone -it is good to separate the batteries anyway.

- I love Nokias UPnP based Media Streamer/SimpleCenter, which I didn't know about! Can't wait for video streaming. All I need now is to upgrade everything else in the house...
The 770 is a perfect media center master control and couch viewer.
That's what I'll use my 770 for when the next one, the 870? comes around, right?
Lars
