Bush-Cheney deliberately lied and misled us into Iraq. That alone is grounds for condemnation, but then add to that how inept, careless and lazy they were, not even having a plan in place for what happens after the invasion. The invasion was the easy part. No real work was required of the White House to plan that. But they just didn't give a damn enough to do anything else. Except of course divide up the spoils with oilfields and no-bid contracts for Halliburton and other close cronies.

yes of course CLinton and Wes Clark did a much better job. They actually labored at diplomacy and coordination, with the experts. Bushies hired political yes-men to key jobs even though the bozos had no experience. It is just a hugely incompetent corrupt endeavor in Iraq, outside the military units themselves.

It is so bad we simply must leave. No ifs, ands or buts. The insurgency is mainly happening because we are there. And it's not going to stop so long as we stay. Plus, we can't afford to stay. This is an extremely costly debacle.
