It was effective. And using former sports stars from teams in Missouri was effective (I guess they aren't exploited for stating their beliefs on the issue...maybe we should ask Rush on that subject), but what is remembered down the road will be Fox's appearance and to a much lesser extent, Rush's response to it.

It has gone from being a cerebral analysis to a gut feeling......happens often. Not unusual. I bet if you asked fifty people who saw both videos what they remembered from each, it would be Fox's condition and their visceral reaction to it....

And for many if Michael J. Fox, in that condition, wants them to help him by voting a certain way...they might just do it.
