Riiiiigh! If it's qualified where is it? Typically you have product waiting for qualification so you can ship. You're saying AMD waited for qualification to start production?

I don't think so...

a one year slip of a prediction made four years ago. Big deal.

That part was a joke. I don't hold anybody to a schedule 4 years out.

If production has already been qualified, why are they waiting until late December to ship parts, which may be merely samples? I suspect they are not happy with what they "qualified", and are desperately trying to improve on it before ramping up production.
