"I've never been against them, and thought a lot of the opposition to them is irrational." An unfortunate number of people have a fear of radiation. You think they'd rethink their support of coal, but... I remember when I worked for Citizen Business Machines. We had gotten some final samples of a new printer, and it came packed with the new manual. Why they insisted on having them translated to English in Japan was something I never understood. I suspect that someone had a relative who's opinion of their English skills was higher than warranted. Anyway, I got this panicky phone call from a salesman, who when looking over the manual, ran across the phrase "radiation vents" in the manual...
