I think you can rule it out.

XOM just made the second highest corporate profit ever. They got the #1 slot last year.

Congress will have to give XOM an extra tax credit to make up for the drop.

I've been watching XOM and some other oil stocks. It's interesting that XOM has been rising in price as the price of crude/gasoline has been falling.
