The tax cut extended well beyond the top 1%, as has the economic growth. You can argue that those at the bottom might not be benefiting much if at all, but if so its the bottom 5 or 10 or 20% not the bottom 98 or 99 percent.


No, this economy ressembles 1973.


Lets see gas and oil prices have recently come down (a fourfold increase in just a few months just isn't going to happen, and long gas lines are very unlikely), inflation doesn't seem to be a looming problem, certainly not double digit inflation. Unemployment is lower than it was in 1973 (and much lower than the average for the 70s). No there isn't much resemblance to 1973.
