Analysis doesn't support your viewpoint by a factor of 2.23

AS >>>>>>>>Ignored By 268

jlallen >>>>>>Ignored by 120

= 2.23 people to 1 think AS has less substance than jlallen. ;-)

It's interesting to see the partisanship displayed even with the new recommendation feature .. (just like with peoplemarks)
Here is an obvious example from the Canucky thread
Message 22872241

Even more blatant since so many folks find ralph annoying so that is IMO the real catalyst Message 22935922

yet here is an example I'd say of a post that merits recos as it is thought provoking despite not agreeing with all points.. Message 22940902

A few years ago during an ongoing disagreement with another poster I came up with this formula for fun with numbers :o)

I made up a little formula once called the $hit QUOTIENT for my own amusement...

ln ((Ignores / Peoplemarks) x posts)) ^ (1 + bans)

ln is natural log
^ is exponential symbol...

eg I am: {ln ( 9 / 64 ) x 12281)} raised to the power of 1 for a QUOTIENT of 7.45, you get 8.45 and
(name removed) gets 96.74...

lower is better LOL.... all in fun...

ooops quick edit on name removed there!!
