Crimson > It is a nightmare come true. The Pope did not take over the American Government, but AIPAC did. And it is indeed a nightmare for the US -- but also for Israel, in fact, which now faces the realization that its Greater Israel fantasy is no more than that and at some time in the future the state of Israel will have to (a) abide by fixed borders and (b) that these are likely to be the pre-1967 ones. And the worst of it is that the Israelis will finally have to make peace with their neighbors, whom they despise, and whose land they have been coveting and stealing for over 50 years.
