And THAT response is at the heart of this, John. Whatever the motivation, whatever Rush now says he was doing or meant to do, it doesn't matter. The perception was that he did something rather bully-like. This has nothing to do with his refusing to succumb to victimization tactics and everything to do with staying on very high ground when confronted by those tactics.
