If you look through bios of the members of Congress, it becomes very clear that many more Dems have been in the military than GOPers. Care to try to back up another lie ted? house.gov; Yes, that's true in terms of actual numbers but then there are 10 more Rep. senators than there are Dem senators in the current Senate. When done on a percentage basis, a greater percentage of Dem senators has a military background than the Republican senators: 38% vs 33%.
