Rush was making good sense in his written email which someone posted last night... but it appears that he was inappropriate during the broadcast. Nobody's perfect... ;)

Traveling in Missouri recently I had a chance to see several local commercials. They play hard in those parts. Talent was accusing the Dem Claire McCaskill that she used to make a big fuss about investigating nursing homes... until she married an owner of "bad" nursing homes... at which point her investigations died. McCaskill, in reply, shows a commercial starring her elderly Mama, who must be at least 90, a great looking lady. Mama indignantly goes after Talent - who, she says, should be ashamed of himself for saying bad things about her daughter - who, of course, is a very nice person. Funny. Big money must be spent there. Political ads practically fill all the breaks.
