The clock is definitely an underrated negotiating tool. My best deal came on a Saturday afternoon before Easter Sunday. Went into the Volvo dealership at 4:30 and he was closing at 5:00. Nobody else was there but the manager, and he was trying to close up and get home. We started negotiating at 4:45 and by 5:05, he just caved.
