Yeah, global warming is a joke, despite the fact that it now enjoys a wide consensus among the scientific community. So what if the previously stable global weather patterns and ocean currents are changing. Never mind thousand year old glaciers disappearing all over the world. Never mind the polar ice caps melting at geologically astounding rates. Never mind the dramatic increase in hurricane activity during recent years. Never mind that we have broken century old weather records out the wazoo in the past few years. Never mind that Buffalo had a blizzard last week, that Colorado got 18 inches of snow in one day this week, and that here in Detroit there was recently a whiteout snowstorm while all the leaves were still on the trees and green. As for that last event, no one I know who is alive rememebers that ever happening before. It's all a plot by the tree huggers.
