Jennifersilversun Chart 0.51 and the MACD would say buying sooner is preferred over buying later stockcharts.com though GLD is above the three trendlines, and there is an argument for it falling to the lower trendline, just as there is an argument for a steeper channel If it weren't for the Doji on the daily at 8^% Stochs: stockcharts.com I'd say buy now. The original Taikun post was on 8/21/06 and said those indicators said "BUY GOLD" 3 times.....and the next 6 days was down (using GLD as ref). Besides, never buy gold....buy silver. If you are a low/high trader....same pattern...more volatility. If you are longer term...silver will also offer much better returns than gold (10X vs 3X (rough average pundit guess)). Compare AUY to SLW from 10/4 (recent low) to 10/26 (recent high).
