In Conversation with George Friedman

Sometimes Friedman gets it right, but most of the time he gets it wrong. Like asserting we invaded Iraq to scare the Saudis. Well, that was the most expensive and ineffective way to go about it.

Friedman was wrong that the Cole attack wasn't AQ (it was), he was wrong about our victory in Afghanistan being a strategic retreat by the Taliban (it really was a rout), and he's been wrong on a great many other things. He puts up a good effort, though. His track record just isn't very convincing.
