This is in Spanish, but suggests that the Federales have entered the University grounds....some fighting, etc. Entering a University is not done lightly, but this seems grounded more on old political strife between the outgoing and the new Governor rather than some populist uprising. And the protesters are definitely not all students.

Badly handled by the new governor, so the uprising spread to the extent that Fox finally had to get involved by sending in a huge contingent of ant-riot police.

I've enjoyed reading Mark's take on it. Thanks for bringing it here.
