"Cubin's well-publicized threat to smack Rankin, who has multiple sclerosis and uses a wheelchair, across the face following a broadcast debate on Oct. 23 became news at a point when a third of this poll had yet to be conducted. So why did she do it?

A Cubin spokesman earlier said that Rankin had it coming. But we hadn't heard from Cubin herself. Well, now we know her excuse.

She later apologized, saying she may have been influenced by listening to too much Rush Limbaugh. Last week, Limbaugh said he would slap actor and Parkinson's disease sufferer Michael J. Fox, "if you'd just quit bobbing your head."

It appears that the democrat position is:

Electronic communication of a homosexual nature with former pages who are legally defined as being of age is wrong.

Actually having homosexual sex with a former page is ok.

Writing sexually explicit novels about homosexual pedophilia is ok. But, what if the writing are electronically transmitted?
