Who needs a fulltime cheerleader that is on record that he will never say anything negative about gold- even if its true, or needs to be said? Would it really be so hard for Sinclair, or the perma bulls on Kitco, or Gold Eagle to come out and say this- 'hey everybody, this is what we've been waiting for. The hedge funds are pouring into gold and silver. Barrons just ran a cover story. Gold and Silver are now lead storys on Bloomberg TV, FOX and CNBC. Weve got to have an exit plan and a plan on who we're going to eventually sell to- and that time has arrived. Gold just got a speculative pop, it's over-bought, so sell it and take the money and run! Then let's wait for a pullback and slowly re-enter as the fundamentals warrant.' The day I read something like that from Sinclair, on Kitco, or Gold Eagle, or in a gold bug newsletter , is that day I shit a gold brick the size of Cleveland. Gold has been a rollercoaster. If youre going to listen to, or follow anyone; common sense says its someone who would buy, or sell gold, or silver based on market conditions and price; and not on political loyalties, anti-government, or mis-placed visions of Austrian economics and the gold standard ruling the planet after a Nuclear winter. Slider fits that bill. He can be the most bullish bull and the most bearish bear and isn't afraid to turn on a dime. Hes not a nickel & dime day trading scalper. I want some market timing input on major turns. Right, or wrong; I want a passionate honest opinion and with him, theres no doubt where he stands. Gold & Silver are just too damn volatile to be buy and hold plays. And to listen to, or follow someone who's commentary is swayed by political affiliation, or some get even with the government for fiat- libertarian crap, is a waste of my time. The first criteria for me in a newsletter writer, or pundit; is- do they have a track record for being both a hand over fist buyer when conditions warrant & a dump it and run seller, or even a short seller- when conditions warrant. I do not want, or need a g@#d@^^ed cheerleader- and thats what 99% of these guys are. Now Slider pisses me off sometimes as much as he does everyone else. But he isnt boring, love him, or hate him- he is a stream of ideas and he is one of the few who fit my first criteria of having been the most bullish of the bulls AND the most bearish of the bears- when conditions warrant. And that is rarer than golden hens teeth in todays market. Find me someone like him and Ill listen to them too. Ron
