here is something about chris shays if you prefer it

"In CT-4, Challenger Takes the Lead
In Connecticut's, 4th congressional district, a new Journal Inquirer/New London Day poll gives Diane Farrell (D) a 4-point advantage over Rep. Christopher Shays (R-CT), 47% to 43% -- "essentially the reverse of their showing a month ago in a similar survey."

"But because the latest poll carries a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points, it also suggests that the closely watched contest remains a statistical dead heat."

Key findings: "Asked to name the single-most important issue in determining their vote, 33 percent of all respondents said the war in Iraq, 16 percent said the economy, 12 percent said health care costs, and another 12 percent said the war on terror."
