Former intelligence officer Robert David Steele recently appeared on the Alex Jones show to make the provocative claim that Google is currently cooperating with secret elements in the US government, including the CIA Why shouldn't they? "Privacy"? Do people really believe they have a reasonable expectation of privacy in searches that are sent over an open wire to a public company, and known to be cached and data-mined? My former employer cooperated with the FBI in something far more intrusive during the Afghan war. I've always wondered what effect it had, if any, in catching any bad guys.
