Why shouldn't they? "Privacy"? Do people really believe they have a reasonable expectation of privacy in searches that are sent over an open wire to a public company, and known to be cached and data-mined?

My former employer cooperated with the FBI in something far more intrusive during the Afghan war. I've always wondered what effect it had, if any, in catching any bad guys.
