I would not think many people would give someone in a wheelchair grief. I found people to be extraordinarily kind during my brief stay in a wheel chair. Even now, when I use a cane some of the time, people are amazingly considerate. There are always a few people who just can't seem to get the humanity thing- but I'd say 95% of people are wonderful most of the time- though anyone can have a bad day.
