thanks for the links. There is a place to email Neelie Kroes, and I sent her this

"Hello, I am an American Citizen and Qualcomm shareholder. I have followed this company for years, and admire both their ability to innovate and reward their shareholders. They are run honestly, and have treated their business partners honestly. Because they believed so strongly in their CDMA technology, they went ahead and pursued their goals of developing their technology when many established companies felt it would not work. WCDMA was a work around using their core technology to develop the 3rd generation cellular service to which we are now all poised to enjoy. When a company puts everything on the line like this and enters into contracts fairly it is incumbent that their intellectual property be protected. If not , where is the incentive for the next great invention. I implore you to study the matter before you with this in mind."

who knows, maybe she will even read it. Maybe she even knows all this stuff, but I am not sure how the politics of euroland will allow her to do anything but decide against Qualcomm
