Praetzellis and other researchers said it is more important for American Indians to be involved in the moving of ancient remains than to force them to prove a genetic link after being left out entirely for decades Anthropologists used to despise this. They know better than anyone that there's no likely link between a prehistoric remains and a modern Indian, and it gets in the way of doing science. Now I think they profession has swallowed the Kool-Aid with my generation weaned on the nonsense.
