It was a long history on my relationship with ARRS as a stockholder. Helping them make the decision to do ethernet video and NT fiber optical multiplexer headends. NT Licensing fee was too high, then.

Today, ARRS has to tune into the huge market of triple play. In the following fields, cable tv, telco iptv, cellphone microwave tower iptv, and GPS satellite ground station iptv, just to save the analog tv, everyone still owns.

As we can see, some of the communications systems are already there(microwave towers and GPS ground stations), but the protocols are not efficient. Realtime and multi-segmented data packet is dotnet(frame) packet format.

How ARRS will do things depends on their ability to have communication giants select ARRS as partner and support some of the R&D expenses. ARRS still will be working with CCUR for more advanced realtime solutions and VOD delivery. SeaChange and edgeQAM is more suitable for cellphone and possibly even GPS systems.

So, sleep easy. Put one foot in front of the other. Find the huge market and adapt into it.
