"Scratch a Democrat plutocrat and you find utter contempt for our troops.... ... our government & our country. Kerry said what he meant & meant what he said despite his desperate assertions to cover his lame ass today. If (and it is doubtful) the GOP had the wit to capitalize on this gaffe, it could become a teachable moment for an important segment of the electorate. The remark encapsulates both the phoniness of the Democrats’ cry that they “support” our troops, and the elitism and contempt they use to buck up their own fragile egos. Bush & Tony Snow have done a great job today of pounding Kerry & the Dems. They are making it clear that this isn't the first time Kerry has publicly attacked our troops while they were in harms way, both with the current conflict & during Viet Nam.
