Being non-PC does not mean you forget your manners.
PC is about control, rules, changing behaviors, not giving offense. There's a difference between that and just being polite.

A friend of mine refers to "Things My Mama Taught Me" and I think this falls in that category. We are taught early on to never make fun of the handicapped or ill.
Rush should have remembered that, because what happened is he shot right through the partisan epidermis and hit a visceral nerve. You just don't mock vulnerable people.

No one argues that he didn't have the right to say it, only that it was "rude". I think even if he could be proved completely correct, the reaction would still be very negative to Rush. As it is, many experts in Parkinson's have spoken out on Fox's behalf, verifying the validity of his symptoms
and that made Rush look even "meaner".

In bringing the discussion back to issues, you are doing what Rush should have done.

I do think most people are pretty tired of these tactics. One of the silliest has been the Allen-Webb literary hoohaw. I think either way people see the Rush incident, it won't ultimately affect someone's decision on funding stem cells.
