I totally agree too. I am not ignorant of the fact that both parties use whatever tactic they can to gin up votes. I am just very tired of having small things matter more than big things. Whether mjf was over medicated, under medicated, was acting or his tremors are natural isn't the point.

I edited my post to reflect the frustration I feel and just wish people could be more honest without all of this useless backlash. Limbaugh was being brutally honest, and he is being torn apart for his honesty. How did what he say hurt or damage anyone? MJF is certainly out there saying he won't go away. Limbaugh is saying the same thing. People should not be afraid to be honest about what they believe, and they should not be fearful to address those thoughts and observations with questions that need answers. It is fear of repercussions that silence people.

There are lines that civilized people shouldn't and don't cross. I don't think what Limbaugh said he observed was going over any line. Heavens.........if we must remain silent, even though we have legitimate questions, so as not to offend anyone....especially if we are referring to someone with a disease or physical malady......then let someone write a book so we know what is and is not acceptable.

What kind of world are we creating?

Breakthrough in Non-Embryonic Stem Cell Research!!!

According to London's The Dail Mail researcher in Great Britain have just achieved a remarkable medical breakthrough: They have managed to grow a human liver in a lab using stem cells.[1] And the best part of this story is ... they didn't have to destroy an embryos to do it:

British scientists have grown the world's first artificial liver from stem cells in a breakthrough that will one day provide entire organs for transplant.

The technique that created the 'mini-liver', currently the size of a one pence piece, will be developed to create a full-size functioning liver.

Described as a 'Eureka moment' by the Newcastle University researchers, the tissue was created from blood taken from babies' umbilical cords just a few minutes after birth.

These same scientists predict that within "five years, pieces of artificial tissue could be used to repair livers damaged by injury, disease, alcohol abuse and paracetamol overdose."

Even as the new treatments and cures owing to adult stem cell research continue to stack up, the advocates of embryonic stem cell research continue to insist that only their kind of research holds the promise of major medical advances in the future. But as far as I'm concerned, if you haven't maxed out the potential medical breakthroughs that non-embryonic stem cells hold, you haven't done your job.
