Unfortunately many idiots don't. And there is a chorus from all the righties in every direction saying Kerry doesn't respect the troops and should apologize.

Obviously, Kerry was criticizing Bush, not the troops, any idiot knows that. for the White House to pretend otherwise is not only dissing the intelligence of the voters but dissing the troops. And who's to blame for the Iraq debacle? Obviously it is Bushies, Bushies only. That is the issue and it's going to stay the issue.

Kerry needs to apologize for the misunderstanding and get out of the spotlight very quickly
