I love this quote.

What's unclear is if Kerry's comments will help rally Republican voters or help their party portray Democrats as against the troops to score victories next Tuesday. A Democratic congressman told ABC News, Tuesday, "I guess Kerry wasn't content blowing 2004, now he wants to blow 2006, too."

Kerry and all Dems are now blasting back against Bushie lies and dishonest smear attacks.

The real issue of today is not Kerry's gaffe, but the fact that the White House knew damned well it was just a gaffe but organized to come out as a MACHINE and attack the words. Then, how quickly and fiercely Kerry responded, decimating Bush-Cheney in his blistering response, about the very real and very costly issue of Iraq, which Bush-cheney are 100% responsible for.

The Bushie brouhaha over this is aimed strictly at the most gullible regions of their far rightwing base. Anyone who believes Kerry meant to diss our troops is a total idiot.
