The opportunity may be in the common equity of energy companies where the money will go and in dividend paying stocks.

Agreed.

Those companies may be the trust co's themselves as they revert. After all, the insiders have a vested interest in seeing their share prices do well, especially now.
Buy at their bottom tomorrow. :o)
