>>There is a philosophical continuum which progresses from liberal to conservative, with moderates obviously in the middle. The fact that certain media outlets are favored by moderates is not a significant finding. What is relevant is the overweight of conservatives, rather than liberals, who are the audience of the most widely available media outlets. Based on the data provided in the chart, the average audience member for those outlets leans conservative. This is not a debatable point.<<

Bill -

Gosh, I'd better not debate it, then. Thanks for the warning.

Was it OK that I debated your original point, though?

Also, do you really think it's reasonable to assume that those who identify themselves as moderates are necessarily distributed evenly along the continuum? Oh, wait, asking that would be debating, wouldn't it? Never mind.

Bill -

By the way, you do realize that this data comes from 2004, don't you?

A lot of things have changed since then as far as public opinion goes. It also explains why The Daily Show and The Colbert Report aren't listed. ;-)

Then there's the fact that more and more, people are turning to the Internet for news.

Your point is starting to look debatable to me again. Sorry.
