I know a similar method to that Forex scheme. It's based on a three period trend.

Except you use various time periods for confirmation.

So for example if we use SPX. On a Quarterly Chart you had a Buy Signal at the end of April 2003.

Confirmed by a Buy (most recently) Month End August 2006

Again most recently confirmed by a Buy September 10th, weekly.

However, not confirmed Daily as of Friday September 27th.

So although all Long Term indications are for a Buy, the Daily suggest you wait before re-entry.

It's not a bad concept. Used in conjunction with other indicators I've had decent success with it.

That golf thing pays off. You should stop building & practicing and find some good touts. Works for me.
